An Awesome Case For The New iPad Pro
I’ve been looking for a simple case for the iPad Pro for quite some time. I didn't want to buy the rather clumsy and boring rubber one from Apple. So I asked Twitter for help.
The suggestion of Martin Kern looked nearly perfect. I would have preferred leather but that still isn’t an option. So I ordered the Infiland case. And I love it.
A bit of background: I noticed how I used the iPad Pro 12.9 with the keyboard mostly as a laptop replacement. But I wanted to use it more like a tablet again.
So, I needed a thin cover that used magnets (not clamps) and that allowed different screen angles for reading, drawing and touch typing. Oh, and it had to look and feel nice too.
The Infiland cover has it all and doesn’t break the bank. I got mine for 25 Euros. The material of the case feels a bit like a cheaper version of the Alcantara leather that Microsoft uses on the Surface devices. It might not be as premium as Alcantara but it still feels way better than the rubber that Apple uses for the official cases.
The only thing I like better on the official cases are the magnets. On the Infiland case they are strong enough but not as super strong as on the official cases from Apple.
I bought my case from Amazon Germany* but you can also get it from Amazon UK* and all the other Amazons. There are different colors as well and there’s even an option for the smaller 11 inch iPad Pro*.
